This week has been jam packed, I'm so happy it's getting closer to the weekend. Today I had another nutrition talk, but this time it was for a Lunch and Learn for employees at my clinic and the topic was "Holiday Survival." So basically it was about avoiding that holiday weight gain with all the parties and holiday dinners, etc. Only 3 people came! Oh well, they got a private lesson:)
I was able to sneak in a quick lunch since my talk was during the time I normally eat. I had leftover tomato soup, 1/2 whole wheat pita, string cheese (the last one of the pack!), and a delicious pink lady apple. Oh yea and a hershey's kiss :)
After work I did the Jillian Michaels 30-day shred workout dvd, which I LOVE. I did Level 3, which is the hardest level. It is soo hard actually, especially since I haven't done it in a while. But I love that I'm out of breath and sweating in a 20 min workout! It's perfect for when you are crunched for time.
Dinner was a Trader Joe's frozen gnocchi...
And some roasted red peppers and asparagus (375 for about 10 min... EVOO, salt, pepper, and parmesan just on the asparagus). Here's the finished product.
