Getting Back in the Swing of Things

After a weekend of indulging, followed a Monday eating leftovers and one more meal of take out, I woke up feeling like I needed to get back into the swing of things.  I decided to go with a bowl of Smart Start Cereal (with skim milk), an apple, OJ, and coffee. For some reason this breakfast seemed very refreshing this morning! 


YESTERDAY
Sorry for not posting last night.  I know I've been a slacker all weekend, I've just been busy! I'm working on the recaps from the weekend so those should be posted soon! 

Monday Lunch: 

I had leftover matza brei from Sunday, which is basically matza coated in eggs and fried.  I guess it's like scrambled eggs with matza in it. 

It was certainly a filling serving! After work I did run/walk intervals for 3.5 miles.  I have been so inconsistent in my running so I'm working my way back into it.  I have some major back issues so I'm always scared about moving up to fast with my running. 

Dinner: 

I was pretty excited to find out that my roommates had ordered Art of Pizza when I got home from the gym. It's one of my favorite deep dish pizza!  I had some spinach. I started out with one piece, but couldn't resist going back for another sliver.  I was definitely stuffed after that!
